Privacy-First Design

YourDreamAI is designed with privacy as a core principle. This policy explains how we handle your data and what stays local.

What Stays Local

• •Document files — Never uploaded to any server
• •Text extraction — Happens in your browser
• •Embeddings — Generated and stored locally in IndexedDB
• •Chat history — Stored locally in IndexedDB
• •AI profiles — Stored locally

What Gets Sent to AI Providers

When you use chat or AI features, we send only what is necessary to the AI provider to generate responses:

• •Smart mode — Small excerpts from relevant document chunks (max ~2500 tokens), persona configuration, and your message. No file metadata or filenames unless in the excerpt.
• •Strict mode — Only locally-generated summaries, persona configuration, and your message. Never raw excerpts.

Server Endpoints

Our main AI endpoint accepts text-only payloads, never file uploads, and does not store your data. It forwards requests to the AI provider and returns the response.

Authentication & Account Data

If you sign in (e.g. with Google), we use Supabase for authentication. Account identifiers and profile data are stored in our database to provide your account and preferences. We do not sell your data to third parties.
